Prue’s Place Daily – live better with cancer

Hello everyone and welcome to Prue’s Place Daily.

How exciting is this.

I’m awake earlier than usual as promised to welcome you all to our very first Prue’s Place Daily. As I sip my tea with a touch of local honey (good for seasonal allergies) enjoying the cool breeze coming through the window, I can’t help feeling blessed to live in this amazing part of the world. It’s officially Fall (Autumn) here in New England and the leaves are slowly starting to change. A few red maple leaves are shining brightly among the green leaves. It’s a magnificent site.

Be Better – Love Better – Live Better with cancer & beyond

We still have temperatures in the high 50’s (14c) to low 70’s (21c) which I find just perfect. This is my favorite time of the year. A great day to start our new inspired lives together.

Prue’s Place Daily starts right now.

Here we go on a new venture together.

Prue’s nugget of wisdom:

The majority of us at Prue’s Place have heard those three scary words, “You have cancer,” or you have this or that disease. It is a devastating time in our lives.

I was in my 20’s when the Oncologist told me I had stage 4 cancer and I remember exactly how I felt the first time I heard those words “you have cancer” and when the secondaries showed up, all hell broke lose. In that moment, it was as if my blood had turned to ice; I was freezing and shaking all over and my body felt numb. I couldn’t hear a word my doctor was saying; all I could see was his mouth moving.

We can never be prepared for devastating news like a cancer diagnosis so I have put together a quick a guideline: The “3 things to do when you’ve been diagnosed with cancer” to help you and your loved ones through this tumultuous time.

Please share this video with your loved ones and friends who have been newly diagnosed. This video will help to bring calm to the storm and help you face this emotionally challenging time with some logic and common sense.

“Think great thoughts today lovely you. Catch the negative ones and gently send them on their way – bye bye.”

Love you. See you tomorrow.
