Hello Lovely You,
What can we do when we have cancer to get proper sleep. Cancer And Sleeping technique is ready for you to pick up below.
Sleep Well. Be Well. for cancer patients.
We are on Day 6 of our count down to Thanks Giving.
Cancer and sleeping: Are you sleeping well? I know sleeping through the night can be challenging when we have cancer or in pain. I slept too much when I was first diagnosed because I was tired all the time and probably suffering from PTSD and depression. We didn’t know anything about PTSD 3 decades ago in Australia and New Zealand, so I didn’t know what to do. I pulled the blankets over my head and slept. Looking back on that time in my life, I realize just how much I didn’t know about the challenging journey ahead of me.
Over the holidays we need to find time to rest. Proper sleep and rest will help keep our immune system healthy and relieve stress. Schedule more time with yourself and try to ignore any hostilities, gossip or arguments. Just walk away.
Sip your favorite herbal tea, meditate more and watch all your favorite holiday movies.
On your way home from a busy day at work or shopping intend your evening. Visualize what it will look like and keep that intention in your mind. Don’t feel obligated to do everything and see everyone. Make your choices wisely and joyfully.
The holiday season is a time to be grateful and mindful of all the blessings in your life.
I want to share with you all today a technique I use when I’m having difficulty sleeping, or I don’t sleep well. It is part of The Lovely You Series. Find a comfortable place to sit. Put your headset on and breathe lovely you.
Freebie Technique: Sleep Well. Be Well.
