My name is Prudence Sinclair from www.pruesplace.org, and I’m here to help you make sense of all the controversy around diets and how you can find out if your current diet of choice is nutritionally balanced for you for a lifetime.
Here’s a little bit about me and why I am encouraging you to take a look at your overall wellness markers and see if your diet is good for you. There is no point being on a diet that is not keeping you looking good, feeling good and offering you optimum wellness. One size doesn’t fit all.
a My personal cancer journey began when Australian doctors gave me six months to live. That was 30 years ago when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer – malignant melanoma – the most aggressive form, Nodular Melanoma. A disease normally found in men over 65 years of age, not a young woman in her early 20’s.
After several surgeries and the option of chemotherapy, I decided to research the world for so-called “alternative medicine.” I was scared out of my friggin’ mind, as you can imagine. Up ‘til this point, my biggest mission had been partying with my friends and dancing at the nightclubs! But suddenly here I was, flying around the world on a new mission to find focused, comprehensive health solutions that would help me to understand better the immense challenges ahead of me. Oh, and help me not die.
I’ve been studying nutrition and metabolic therapies for 1/4 of a century, and I know how confusing this subject can be especially prevention and cancer diets. People often ask me, “What works Prue?” And, my advice is to always get tested and fine tune your diet – in other words find your Personalized Nutrition and then you will know for certain what will work.
We need to test not guess. Learning how to find what works for you for a lifetime is empowering.
I know eating the right healing foods for my body has been one of the critical factors why I am still alive today 30 years after being given 6 months to live with stage 4 cancer.
The food you eat needs to be personalized – tailor-made to your uniqueness. There will always be a “trendy diet” on the market. How do you know if that “trendy” diet is good for you or not?
Does this mean you will never get sick or will live forever? Of course not, because there are too many variables to your life style. It just means you will feel better, perform better and have a greater chance of controlling cellular inflammation and preventing disease and healing from a disease.
