Taking a Holistic Approach to Cancer

The mythological war on cancer was started back in the 1970s under President Nixon.

He vowed to fight cancer and find a cure, and for decades after his declaration, billions and billions and BILLIONS of dollars have been spent to find this cure, and yet, there is no cure.

Plenty of people, including myself, are long term cancer survivors but NOT by traditional methods.

So where have those BILLIONS of dollars gone?

Into the pockets of some very greedy individuals who profit from all of us becoming and STAYING sick. Listen, I know for a fact the cancer industry is a billion-dollar industry. Why find a cure that will kill those kinds of profits?

Now, I have always said that I think it’s important for people to find medicine that they love. And I mean that. But at the same time, I think it’s important that people have ALL of the information available to them that will help them make the right treatment decisions for themselves or a family member. That’s why I have spent the past 30+ years sharing my personal story of being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given only 6 months to live. That’s why I tell people EXACTLY what I did to heal dis-ease.

What made the most sense for me and what I think makes the most sense for a majority of people, is to take a holistic approach to cancer even if you decide on traditional therapy you can assist your healing further with proven natural and holistic avenues.

5 Strategies for a Holistic Approach to Cancer Treatment

Let’s start by stating what holistic means. Holistic means treating the whole or ENTIRE person. It doesn’t mean zapping someone’s liver with a bunch of chemo or radiation, but treating the ENTIRE body and system, bringing back the natural balance of things so the body can do what it was designed to do… HEAL ITSELF.

In order to take a holistic approach to cancer, there are 5 strategies that need to be applied.

1. Nutrition

Proper nutrition is critical to the holistic cancer treatment. Refined sugar feeds cancer cells and these foods will need to be eliminated from your diet ASAP. All processed foods should go. Right now you should be feeding your body an anti-inflammatory diet that focuses on healthy fats, organic produce and clean sources of protein. It’s also incredibly important that you drink plenty of clean, pure water!

2. Detoxification

In order for your body to heal you’ve got to help it rid itself of harmful toxins that are stored inside of it. A holistic healer can guide you and help facilitate a liver cleanse, a kidney cleanse and a bowel cleanse.

Some other ways to rid your body of toxins are to exercise and stretch daily. This will help release acids from your muscles that are making your body’s pH too acidic. An acidic pH is what allows disease to take hold. That’s another key to a holistic approach to cancer treatment.

Jumping on a trampoline is also a great way to move your lymph fluid and flush out those wastes. Sitting in a warm sauna and sweating will also help remove toxins.

3. Rebuild Your Immune System

You’ve set the stage for your body to begin healing, so now let’s give it every fighting chance. Your immune system is not just “that thing” that helps you fight off colds and flus. A healthy immune system is powerful enough to fight off cancer cells. Before your body finally gave in to cancer, there is every chance that it had beat it many times over.

Your white blood cells, if supported, can attack the cancer and kill it. To rebuild your immune system, be sure to get plenty of sleep each night and deal with any stress you have in your life. Yes, I know having cancer is stressful, but what other stressors may have led to the cancer? Toxic relationships? Toxic work environment? These must be dealt with. Stress is a killer and it can destroy our immune system. If you can’t cut out the toxicness from your life, then use meditation, yoga and herbal adaptogens to deal with the stress in a healthy way.

4. A Mental Overhaul

Let me tell you something very important: positivity is needed to heal.

Your body cannot heal when your mood is dark and negative. It just won’t work. If you’ve always been a glass-is-half-empty kind of person, that needs to change NOW.

I implore you to begin a meditation practice. Meditation is a wonderful remedy for many things, but it is especially good at helping you connect with your higher self, which is your true self. This bodysuit we live in isn’t the real you, it is an avatar that allows you to interact with this 3D world.

Your higher self is made of love and light. It lives in a state of joy. But you have forgotten. You have gotten lost in this virtual reality and have become, perhaps, a dark and brooding person.

Set aside a few minutes each day to be still and focus on your breathing. You can also focus on the sounds around you. Both will help you to shut off the monkey brain chatter and allow you to tap into source and the REAL reality. Once you do, you will find you can’t HELP but feel good and positive and happy. Yes, even while fighting cancer. Some of my happiest days were back during my cancer journey Because I became so connected to source. I had a profound turnaround in my attitude and outlook on life, and I KNEW that was a major reason my body could begin to heal. Thoughts become a physical reality. Get positive and STAY positive.

5. Spiritual Cleansing

Once your mind is in a state of calm and peace, you can then begin to do the spiritual work necessary to heal yourself. Much disease comes from past trauma and/or emotions we are carrying around like hatred and resentment.

Spiritual cleansing is a process where you can seek energetic healing from the divine. Ask to be healed of your trauma and your dark emotions and ask for those to be replaced with love, joy, and compassion. Meditation is amazing for this, as is traditional prayer and visualization.

It is my belief that in the not-too-distant-future all disease will be healed via a holistic approach. It is simply a logical and common-sense approach to health. I think these strategies also should be used to prevent cancer and diseases from taking hold in the first place

Wishing you light, love, peace, and healing.
